About

I’m a venturous and creative individual with a diverse set of skills and experience.I’m looking forward to contributing to the success of an organization.

I have always had a genuine interest in technology and arts. My eagerness to understand HCI kindled very early in my childhood when I started using creative software suites. Fascinated by Photoshop, After-effects etc. I developed proficiency in them through self-learning. My equal interest in computers and the need for a secure job landed me with a B.Tech IT degree after four years of learning coding and visual design. Started my career as an IT engineer in an MNC. My main responsibility was end-user-desktop troubleshooting in collaboration with partners in US and China. Being a part of the Incident Management team, the experience I gained interacting with users and understanding the usability issues on a daily basis was enriching. I tend to perceive that most software errors rise from a UX issue. From my experience, few things I learnt are : Users love familiarity, old is familiar and users want to stay there. My curiosity for the science behind User experience grew gradually. I decided to pursue my passion for visual design in the very exciting field of Visual Effects. Learning from resources online, without any college degree in Arts I was still able to produce high-quality visuals that were up to industry standards. I started as a part-time Generalist ,with creating storyboards. Gradually, yet in a short amount of time, I moved to motion graphics and title animation. I gained the crux of what looks good and what doesn’t from rigorous practice, experimenting and valuable feedback from colleagues and friends and never ending iterations. Then I became a full-time VFX artist quitting my job as an engineer. Down the line, I decided to take over one of my family owned business , I worked as an Executive Officer in a benefit fund company, supervising a small team of people and everyday financial operations. Played a key role as a communicator between the board of directors and the employees.
